About me
I was born in February 17th, 1997 in Suqian, Jiangsu Province, China. In June 2019, I received the B.Eng. degree with a major in Automation at the School of Internet of Things Engineering, Jiangnan University in Wuxi, China.
In September 2019, I began my Ph.D. studies at Jiangnan University under the supervision of Prof. Hongfeng Tao. My main interests are in the areas of iterative learning control, optimization, data-based control, and reinforcement learning. I expect to graduate in June of 2025.

- May 25th, 2025: I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis, titled "Iterative learning control and optimization of repetitive systems with varying trial lengths".
- May 10th, 2025: I attended the 2025 China-Poland-UK International Workshop on Data-Driven Control, at Wuxi, China, and gave a keynote talk about the work "Data-enabled iterative learning control: A zero-sum game design for varying time-scale tasks"

- May 10th, 2025: I attended the 2025 IEEE 14th Data Driven Control and Learning Systems Conference (DDCLS), at Wuxi, China, and gave a presentation about the conference paper "Iterative learning control for closed-loop systems with actuator saturation using alternating projection"

- March 25th, 2025: I successfully pre-defended my thesis at the School of Internet of Things Engineering, Jiangnan University. My final defense is due at the end of May.
- March 20th, 2025: The conference paper "Iterative learning control for closed-loop systems with actuator saturation using alternating projection"

- August 5-7th, 2024: My supervisor, Prof. Hongfeng Tao, and I attended the 2024 Seminar on Artificial Intelligence and Learning Systems at Shaoxing, China, and Prof. Hongfeng Tao gave a keynote talk on our joint work

- July 21st, 2024: The journal paper " Non-lifted norm optimal iterative learning control for networked dynamical systems: A computationally efficient approach"

- July 7th, 2024: My supervisor, Prof. Hongfeng Tao, and I attended a seminar on the China-Poland Cooperation Project at Dalian, China, and Prof. Hongfeng Tao gave a presentation on our joint work

- July 6th, 2024: I attended the 14th Asian Control Conference (ASCC), at Dalian, China. Wojciech Paszke gave a presentation on ASCC about the work "Design of indirect-type iterative learning control for continuous-time batch processes with the repetitive process setting"

- December 21st, 2023: The journal paper "Quantized iterative learning control of communication-constrained systems with encoding and decoding mechanism"

- September 23-30th, 2023: I was funded by Prof. Wojciech Paszke to visit his university for one week at the University of Zielona Góra, Zielona Góra, Poland.
- July 28th, 2023: The journal paper "Q-learning based fault estimation and fault tolerant iterative learning control for MIMO systems"

- March 21-23rd, 2023: I attended the 42nd Benelux meeting on Systems and Control at Elspeet, the Netherlands, and gave a presentation on the work

- December 22nd, 2022: Happy to have a "join teams meeting" held by Tom Oomen and Max van Meer at Eindhoven, the Netherlands!
- December 18th, 2022: I arrived in the Netherlands to start a one-year visit to Oomen's group, Control Systems Technology Section, Eindhoven University of Technology.

- July 20th, 2022: I received a grant from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to conduct a joint Ph.D study for one year at Oomen's group in Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, the Netherlands,
supervised by Prof. Tom Oomen.
- February 7th, 2022: The journal paper "Iterative learning control for repetitive tasks with randomly varying trial lengths using successive projection"
by myself, Hongfeng Tao, Yiyang Chen, Vladimir Stojanovic, and Wojciech Paszke, was accepted for publication in International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing.
- September 4th, 2021: I started my Ph.D studies as a formal Ph.D. student at Jiangnan University in Wuxi, China, supervised by Prof. Hongfeng Tao.
